International cooperation of the Visegrad Fours - II. stage when applying the V4 test battery and modifying it for the needs of current firefighters

The current rescue operation by firefighters because of the extreme conditions and the diversity of interventions puts high demands on them not only professional, but also the mental and the physical. The purpose of the project is in the close international cooperation entities, of the Visegrad 4 countries to test the testing battery, which will verify the prerequisites of new candidates for the new Visegrad V4 work in the Fire Rescue Corps into the practice. At the same time to create from the diagnostic resource the modification for the verifying the movable efficiency of the physical performance of the existing Fire Department rescuers. The new testing battery under the name V4, was constructed under the project name of the IVF no. 21610132 in the years 2016-2017 under the name of " International cooperation in the countries of the Visegrad in accepting new applicants into the Fire and Rescue Corps ". The request for solution of the second step of the project wase raised by the representatives of the different countries in V4 countries at the internationa conference to that issue in 23 of November.2017, which was organised by the Department of Fire Protection at the Faculty of Wooden Sciences and Technology at the Technical University in Zvolen. The support in writen form for the second step of the project in the first half of 2018 was the accepted by the highest representatives of the Fire Rescue Corps of the Visegrad 4 countries.

Partner No. 1. Fire Brigade of the Vysočina Region, Czech Republic

Address: Ke Skalce 32, Jihlava, 586 04, Czech Republic

Form of collaboration and role : Previous cooperation with project partner: The General Directorate of the Fire Brigade of the Czech Republic recommended this partner be included in the project. We will be testing the random samples of firefighters of various age categories using the modified V4 test battery at this organisation. This partner has agreed to participate in the project and will create the conditions for fulfilling the tasks in this stage of the project .

Partner No. 2.  Directorate - General - School training facility for fire Brigade  Brno - Czech Republic

Form of collaboration and role: Previous cooperation with project partner: We collaborated with this partner on the previous international project, IVF no. 21610132. The Czech fire brigade school training facility in Brno is where the testing of the research sample will be performed – stage 2. This partner established very good working conditions in the previous project and has agreed to participate in this international project. This partner also participated in an international scientific seminar on the topic, held at the Technical University in Zvolen on 23 November 2017, and actively contributed to the results of the previous project.

Partner No. 3. The Main School of Fire Service – Warszaw

Form of collaboration and role: Previous cooperation with project partner: The research sample testing will be performed at the Main School of Fire Service in Warsaw – stage 2 using the modified test. We collaborated with this partner on the previous international project, IVF no. 21610132. The final working meeting of the project partners will be held at this organisation – the results of the whole project will be presented at this meeting. We have been collaborating with this partner since 2003 in resolving firefighter rescue operation issues.

Partner No. 4. City Disaster Management Directorate - Budapest

Form of collaboration and role: Previous cooperation with project partner: Testing of the random sample of recruits on basic training will be performed at this partner organisation stage 2. Testing of the random sample of serving firefighters will be performed at this partner organisation using the modified test. We collaborated with this partner on the previous project, IVF no. 21610132. We have been collaborating with this partner on rescue operation issues since 2010.
