The project deals with a question of effects of natural and anthropogenic injurious agents activating due to climatic changes on the resistance potential of forest stands in mountainous forests. Model spruce and beech forests affected by different stress factors will be the area of our interest. The effect of these factors on dispositive properties of the spruce and beech The effect of disturbantial processes on the resistance potential of forest stands, conditions for activisation of biotic injurious agents (bar-boring insects, wood-destroying fungi, game), and risks for fire occurrence and spreading in relation to climatic extremes will be investigated in selected forest stands.
