Elaboration of interactive multimedia textbook "Mechatronics" for secondary vocational schools

Various multimedia allow the presentation support of better, more intensive and efficient perception of information (texts, drawings, pictures, talk, music, animations, videos) in specific subjects. Since there is an enormous amount of information in current teaching practice, students are simply not capable to remember everything. Therefore, nowadays it is crucial to be able to manage the information, choose the essential idea and the aim of the subject studied. Multimedia and hypertext are the right tools for supporting the information to be found in related study material as well as its easy search and orientation within. The project is focused on the preparation and elaboration of a new educational application for secondary schools in the Slovak Republic oriented on engineering, so that the quality in teaching "Mechatronics" is improved.
