Modernization of information system, education process and activities in Borová hora Arboretum

Presenting project is intent to building more recent information network with education aids and
direct demonstration of natural scenery on area of Borová hora Arboretum. In educational process of
Forestry faculty mainly in subjects: Forestry dendrology, Park and Landscape, Phytocenology, Botany,
Meteorology, Geology and Soil science implement actual results of output reconnaissance of named
fields in terrain condition of stands in arboretum.
Didactic - pedagogical effect of educational panels and markedly betterment of knowledge in
arboretum is well-founded periodic and intensive exploitation of arboretum with broad spectrum of
many visitors: the pre-school children, students of grammar, high school and universities, the scientific
public of national and foreign institutions and not least for general public. The results of presenting
project will have use in National program of enlightenment in Slovakia.
