The project aims at connection the activities from several fields of forestry education and research. We plan to use most advanced technology. The forest growth simulator SIBYLA, which has been developed by Fabrika (2005) at the Technical University in Zvolen, will be used as a main tool. The detailed field measurements of photosynthetic activity and actual meteorological data will be used for modeling of forest growth. This will allow to validate the model of photosynthesis in the simulator. Such simulation has a great importance not only in the research, but also in visualization during an education process. The precision of the model should be enhanced due to which in can also be used in future research.
