Detailed data on research infrastructure/laboratory:
- Description and data on research infrastructure/laboratory:
The laboratory serves to perform strain gauge measurements within the subject Metrology for Technicians and as a preparation room for experimental measurements of various nature within the research of the department and the implementation of dissertations. The laboratory also houses all measuring equipment that the department uses in its scientific and research activities. -
List of equipment:
Strain gauge set for bonding HBM electrical resistance strain gauges, HBM Quantum X MX 840 A universal measurement recorder, HBM Spider 8 universal measurement recorder, means and sensors for vibration and noise measurement. -
Reasoning for uniqueness/strategic importance:
The laboratory contains measuring instruments and devices for performing strain gauge measurements on mechanical, especially metal, components. Electrical resistance strain gauges are still a progressive method in the field of research into strength, reliability and durability tests of metal mechanical structures. -
Assigning research infrastructure to one or more research areas:
Mechanical engineering – experimental research into the elasticity and strength of mechanical structures.
