The first part of textbook content reviews basic terminology by wood and wooden materials machining and cutting as the object of cutting process, accompanied effects arising during cutting process, theory and chip creation in cutting process. The second part is focused on process analysis of mechanical wood cutting (sawing, cutting, peeling, chopping, and flaking), wood and wooden materials machining processes (milling, turning, cutting, debarking, drilling and chiseling). Third -- the closing part of textbook is dedicated to woodcutting tools and their set-out and maintenance. Another part of project will be the partial conclusions: verification and extend of existing theoretical wood cutting and machining models with new experimentally verified models and computer simulations, science popularization in wood cutting and machining branch by forming digitalization of chip creation process, woodcutting tools database updating and their methodics and maintenance design.
