- Description and data about the research infrastructure/laboratory:
The instruments in the laboratory allow for quantitative analysis of metals in condensed matrices (AAS GBC933), determination of some organic substances (FTIR ATI Matson), especially for oil substances. The laboratory is equipped with basic accessories for physicochemical analysis of water, sludge and waste (laboratory glassware and equipment, dryers, muffle furnace, centrifuges, shakers, pH meters, conductometer, oximeter). The laboratory equipment also includes a device for determining CST in sludge, the OxiTop®-IDS AN 6 Measuring System for Anaerobic Degradation with automatic evaluation using ACHAT software for anaerobic degradability in environmental samples, WTW OxiTop® Control 6, Control 12 for aerobic degradability with pressure differential, and OxiTop Control 6 BOD Self-check Measurement 100 to 240V for determining BOD. The semi-automatic PRO NITRO II analyzer including a mineralization unit is used for determining total nitrogen. -
