Temperature and moisture changes are rising in wood in the process of drying and hydrothermal treatment of wood. The project will address the impact of external conditions to time-varying temperature and humidity fields in wood through mathematical and physical method and through identification of the effect of temperature, humidity and drying medium velocity on the formation and size of the internal stresses in dried wood. Modeling of these complex relationships and phenomena heat-water-wood, will enable to solve the numerical change in the distribution of temperature and moisture in wood and also predict the creation of tension in the wood and thus to manage the process of drying and hydrothermal treatment.
