Evoltree -- Evolution of Trees as Drivers of Terrestrial Diversity (016 322)

Network of Excellence are to assemble expertise, methodologies and strategies in four major disciplines (ecology, genetics, genomics and evolution) in order to answer global issues as dynamics of terrestrial biodiversity, response of terrestrial ecosystems to climatic changes. Evoltree will therefore contribute to the emergence of ecosystem genomics, a new discipline that relates the function and diversity of genes to their role in the adaptation of species and biotic interactions.
The EVOLTREE Network forms a European Research Group, a cooperation instrument devoid of any legal personality, which started in January 2011 for two periods 2011--2014 and 2015--2018.
