Biotic indicators and anthropogenic landscape changes

Varying conditions of environment and new forms of landscape use require searching for indicators of ecosystem changes in that every human activity interfere with components of landscape-ecological complex. Evaluation and research of the processes is of significance in an environment with high structural heterogeneity. When carrying out proposed study, we shall analyze the existing body of knowledge about areas involved. The basis of our research is centred on investigation of past ecosystem shifts and on the anthropogenic threat to the environment, as well on impact assessment of the effects via chosen groups of indicators which represent organisms' biodiversity.
