Detailed data on research infrastructure/laboratory
-
Description and data on the research infrastructure/laboratory:
The laboratory is focused on scientific research and educational activities in the field of ergonomics and occupational safety and for assessing the impacts of logging and transport technologies on the forest environment. -
List of equipment:
- axle scales Dini Argeo
- penetrometer Eijkelkamp with soil moisture probe,
- device for measuring CO2 content in soil Vaisala
- camera traps 2 psc – now installed in field – they record traffic on forest roads
- thermal camera Fluke,
- device for measuring biological response to stimuli – Biofeedback, - luxmeter, anemometer, thermometer with hygrometer - devices for measuring risk factors in the workplace
-
Justification of uniqueness/strategic importance:
Possibilities of determining the physical and mechanical properties of the soil and their changes due to the passage of forestry equipment, determining the psychological and physical strain of the worker during work based on changes in selected physiological parameters.
-
Assigning research infrastructure to one or more research areas:
- Agricultural, forestry and veterinary sciences
- Technical sciences
