Preferences for specific material attributes change in time, recently green (environmental) products’ attributes are perceived significantly in relation to the Green Growth and Circular Economy concept. This project deals with the determination of end-users’ attitudes towards different utilised wood products. The preferences of end-users for the selected wood attributes in comparison with substitute materials will be assessed for the area of furniture production, construction timber, paper products and biomass for energy production. The survey will be carried out in the Slovak Republic and in Taiwan. The research will enable to identify preferred competitive attributes of wood and make cross-cultural comparison of preferences of consumers in both countries.
